Our first blog post!

We have had a busy few months working for major international clients and those more local to us here in Cornwall. With a little bit of downtime this weekend I thought it would be a good time to launch our blog and reflect on some of the things we have done recently. Video production in Cornwall has been treating us well as our great online connectivity allows us to work with clients on projects from the USA to London, yet we have the beautiful Cornish countryside right on our doorstep. So we get to mix work with early morning paddleboard adventures and coffee at our favourite little cafe, The Warehouse by Origin in Penryn.

During August it was of course the famous Falmouth Week, 7 days of entertainment, events and sights to delight tourists and locals alike. The standout of the whole week being the annual Red Arrows Display over Falmouth Bay. While the weather did look like it might not quite hold out, we were lucky for a break in the cloud as the Red Arrows dazzled nearly 40,000 spectators below. We were able to produce a short video of this which you can see on our Facebook page (click here to take you straight there!)

One of our biggest projects over the last couple of months has been working with Study Group International, the worlds largest international study centre group that has so far placed over 60,000 students from 150 countries onto courses all around the world! We have been helping them edit videos for the International Study Centres across the USA, and if you keep an eye on their social media outlets you will see these going live over the next couple of months. So far we have completed nearly 20 videos for them!

We were also really excited to work with GVA, one of the worlds leading real estate consultancies to produce a vitally important piece of internal communications for one of their biggest ever internal projects. This work saw us capture all the elements that are needed to showcase this new project, as well as interviews with two senior members of the GVA team. You can find out more about this work here

Finally, back in July we worked with Atta Street Food, a really inspiring new food venture based in the heart of Falmouth. Brad works tirelessly not only to create great food but to also give back to the local community. Plastic free and virtually zero waste, it really is a model for others to follow. To see the work we completed check out our portfolio piece about Atta here

With all this new and exciting work, we thought it was about time we put this into one mega showreel for you all to see! We premiered this on our social media channels last week, but if you haven’t already seen our latest showreel make sure you check it out below!

The next few weeks remain busy, and we are really looking forward to joining Nine Feet Tall in Bath to capture their Touch Rugby Tournament for the second year in a row. We hope to post on this blog every week, but if we are ever behind or you just want to catch up on what we are doing, remember you can follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for the most up to date news!
